What is ChickenSexGTEx ?

ChickenSexGTEx is the next stage of ChickenGTEx pilot phase, which mainly focuses on the regulation of genetic variants such as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and structure variants (SVs) on the critcal molecular phenotypes including gene expression and alternative splicing from 32 different tissues in chickens, particularly designed for a context of the sex-biased manner. This data resources provides molecular phenotypes and molQTLs in tissue, single cell/nuclear and sex context, which were generated from 8,144 bulk tissue RNA-seq, 93 single cell/nuclear RNA-seq of 280 chickens (150 male and 130 female birds).
